Haven blog for the past two days, that habit
of laziness is showing again.
Well, Friday went well. Had rested/slacked
through the afternoon after school and
literally feeling quite empty inside after the
whole day of lessons and especially after
NCC meeting. Not possesing any CCA
(practically) feels rather awesome,
for like only a day, but boredom from going
off duty is haunting me.
Anyways, went to Rachel, cum her brother
and her sister's birthday party yesterday.
Extensive journey to to woodlands,
traveled via train, just because of curiosity
over the artistic walls of the circle line, which
turned out rather empty on its designs.
Serangoon Station.
Had my first BBQ at a neighbourhood park,
and really savoured marvelous BBQ seafood.
Felt rather left out in the beginning because
other yog mates didn't turn up,
oh well.. mixed around with her church
friends, played a game of street soccer till
my toes bleed; the blisters still hurt. :-/
BBQ for 2 hours at the grill after being
pronounced crippled and no-longer
suitable for exercise.
Made great BBQ chicken, satay and otah,
and learned how to cook corn and potato
after much trial and error.
(At least got Rachel's sister's approval,
and was being known as 'chef' during
the time at the grill.)
After all the hard work, we gathered to
play a few games of 'zhong ji mi ma',
where the 'lucky' person who got the
number, had to clear off a
designated number of chicken wings.
I was fortunate to only lose a round
and had to swallow 3 wings.
Wasn't too concerned about the time,
until i was notified that it was already
11.30 P.M. .Like....
What luck.
the bus was nearing the bus stop
and i tried to go after it, but was
naturally fruitless. My blisters
and that injured toe proved to
be a burden, and i could only
helplessly watch the bus pass by.
Took the train back home,
and just because i missed that bus and
waited for another 15 minutes for the
next one, i had to alight off the train at
Ang Mo Kio.
No bus home!
Took a cab and bleed $9 to get home,
safely..
OUCH!
Wanted to cycle, but the sky didn't look
promising, practically issued a curfew
when it started to pour just a moment ago.
oh well, just rot at home, in front of the
computer/television. :D
